Magento 2 Improved Sorting - new Amasty extension

Hello Amasty blog readers!

Today we announce an important point in our journey.

In terms of Magento merchant beta program participation, we have released our very first extension for Magento 2. Amasty team is very enthusiastic about the opportunities that Magento 2 is going to bring to the e-commerce world, and we want to be on the front line of what is happening in the Magento community.

Improved sorting for Magento 2 is a very effective tool for store-owners who care about their customers. Increase the usability of your catalog with user-friendly search options! Allow your potential clients to browse catalog or categories by any comfortable parameters: best sellers, most viewed, top rated, new and in wishlist.

Magento 2 is still in Merchant Beta. Why did you start creating Magento 2 extensions now?

When Magento 2 is out of Beta, merchants will start to switch to the new platform or open their new stores using it. They will need extensions, and we must be ready to provide them with useful tools right away.

Will you stop creating, updating or supporting Magento 1 extensions? I’m afraid you won’t pay attention to the tools I use now.

For now, Magento 1 customers, current and new, remain our primary focus. You may be sure we will continue providing you with the best tools and service in the nearest future.

I want another Magento 2 extension.

Great! This is our first extension for Magento 2, and more modules are going to appear. If you have a particular suggestion, please drop me a line, your vote will be counted!
